Build the deck where the evidence already lives

Create an investor deck from real product context, interview the gaps, and ground every financial claim in a model you can defend.

Ben Sufiani · The article: Build Better Pitch Decks with AI

Build the deck in the richest context

Ben keeps the pitch deck inside the Bridesmaid project rather than starting in an isolated slide tool. The agent already knows the product, visual system, strategy, and decisions that shaped the current build.

Even a simple folder can create this advantage. Put the current deck, research, spreadsheet, and design references together before asking the model to tell the story.

“Use the place where you have the most context about the project.”
Ben Sufiani

Interview the gaps instead of letting AI fill them

The agent spots missing proof and asks questions: how the product should be demonstrated, how a one-time bride becomes a durable business, and which slide is weakest before the investor meeting.

Ben can reject the offered choices and dictate a better answer. That exchange produces a deck grounded in his actual plan instead of a familiar set of startup phrases.

“The idea of the interview is that you completely avoid AI slop by providing the agent with the relevant context it needs.”
Ben Sufiani

Let the first slide filter investors quickly

The cover says what the product is, who is building it, the stage, the amount being raised, and the valuation. It gives the wrong investor permission to stop immediately and the right investor a reason to continue.

Ben does not hide the ask for a theatrical reveal. The deck is a decision tool, not a suspense story.

“Don't make the investor think too hard what this is.”

Every impressive chart needs a defensible source

The revenue projection comes from a spreadsheet built through a long discussion about assumptions. The chart in the deck is a view of that model, not a shape the AI invented to make the slide look complete.

The same rule applies to market size, competition, and customer evidence. Link the source, check that it says what the slide claims, and be ready to open the model when an investor challenges the number.

“Don't let it just create bullshit charts. Ground everything in things that you can later open when you have a discussion with the investor.”
Ben Sufiani
