Pick the model that answers

CaptAIn answers with Claude Sonnet 5.5 until you pick another. Whichever you pick, this is what happens to what you write.

  • In the EU by defaultYour question goes through Vercel's AI Gateway to the model you pick and is processed in the EU, unless you switch that off in CaptAIn's settings.
  • Deleted after 90 daysYour chats are kept for 90 days after the last message, then deleted. What you save to your profile stays until you delete it.
  • Never used for trainingNothing you write trains AI models.
  • Nothing happens without your clickRegistering you for an event or booking a call waits for your Approve.

Every account has the first ones. Claude Opus 5.5, GPT-6 Astra, and GPT-6.1 Sol are reserved for the Pirate Pass.

CaptAIn is the Pirate Skills AI agent. Ask it about building and growing your product: it searches the Growth Codex, the Builder Codex and Insights, links what it used, and takes your venture into account. It can also find upcoming events for you.
How do I get to CaptAIn?
On the website: sign in – or create a free account – and open pirateskills.com/lab/chat. If you aren't signed in yet, you sign in first and land in the chat right after.
Is CaptAIn free?
Yes. Every answer costs a little gold – about 10 gold for a typical one – and your account gets 500 gold every month, topped up on the 1st. No card, no plan.
What does CaptAIn know about me?
What you write in the chat, your venture and the context you saved in the Lab – and, when you ask, your events, gold and bookings. It can't read other members' data, and it never decides anything about you.
What happens to my chats?
