The tool should disappear as your capability grows
Ben maps a path from chat, to persistent context, to real products, and finally to proactive agents. Each level is defined by what you can hand over, not by the logo of the tool you use.
The practical warning comes at the comfortable middle: chat builders are excellent for proving an idea, but a product you intend to own eventually needs a stack you can take with you.

A story product begins with the listener
Su and Andrei built Lindenfeld to tell stories connected to the place someone is moving through. Their prototype combines researched source material, a narrative framework, and audio without asking the listener to stare at another screen.
They keep returning to the same constraint: the AI stack changes quickly, but the product still has to create value for a person in a recognizable moment.
“You have to deliver value to the user. If you take a bad concept and put AI on it, you have AI on top of a bad concept.”
A style tool earns trust in the real world
Josua did not stop at a general image generator. He wrapped a model in a workflow that a tattoo artist could actually use, with prompts, saved designs, authentication, and a repeatable path to stencil-ready output.
The sharpest evidence was not a benchmark. The artist had generated hundreds of designs, and dozens had already become tattoos.
“He used it around 500 times, and there were 30 tattoos tattooed with designs made by this app. People are walking around with tattoos made by this vibe-coded app.”
Worth building is a product question, not a speed question
Simonetta's examples bring the night back to selection. Journaling, family memories, and personalized media are small enough to build quickly, but each still needs a reason to exist beyond the novelty of generation.
Fast execution makes this test cheaper. It does not make the answer automatic. Show the product, watch what people keep using, and let that evidence decide the next build.
