Get to the first magical moment quickly
Ben does not begin with programming theory. He begins with a shop website and the experience of asking an agent to change it while you watch.
The website is only the training ground. The useful shift is realizing that software is no longer a fixed object somebody else has to change for you.

A teacher builds the feedback she could never give at scale
Svenja built a grading workflow around the constraints of a real classroom. Separate agents check separate criteria, European models keep the data path defensible, and every student gets a more specific view of progress.
The result is not automation for its own sake. It is feedback that would be impossible to produce manually for hundreds of students every week.
“Right now, I have 15 different prompts running on each answer. Each agent has to focus only on one part, because if you give one agent all the criteria, it gets messy.”
Vibe coding leaves the screen
Paul's team wanted a glanceable display for AI subscription usage. They had never built hardware, so they worked backward from an existing desktop utility, found a small screen they liked, and replaced its firmware.
The important move was not inventing every component. It was learning enough about displays, controllers, and firmware to combine pieces that already existed.
“We've been building this device for the past two weeks and we've never built any hardware before. In fact, we're not even software developers.”
An assistant becomes an operator
Anna's assistant runs on a virtual machine, watches an inbox, works with a calendar, builds websites, and can connect to smart-home devices. That usefulness also creates a larger security surface.
Her rule is practical: keep personal access private, audit the setup, and grant automatic actions deliberately. An AI with hands needs tighter boundaries than an AI that only gives advice.
“It's pretty much like having a Claude with hands that could do things for you, not just be an AI advisor but an AI operator.”
