Hopefully, we have established by now that content marketing is the backbone of most other channels. Need a high-converting landing page? We better have a resonating story with on-point headlines and clear graphics. Need to build an email nurturing series? We better have valuable and trust-building content to send to our best leads. The same goes for everything else, from the ad to the sales pitch. We need an evil content plan of doom!
Yet, I rarely see the proverbial "diabolical plan" that genuinely convinces me. Well, sometimes, when I stare down an endless website/email funnel of every other get-rich-quick guru, they have 10 well-written and personalized emails and 3 webinars waiting for me. Why the fu** do they out of all businesses have to get this right, while most "good guys", sustainable, future-tech startups are sorely lacking in the basic.
